This one was worked over by California Typewriter not too long ago, however since then it has gotten a new black silk ribbon, fresh platen & feed rollers, and has gotten a new drawstring.
Refreshed & Ready
This machine is a real gem. At some point recently it was worked over extensively, then it got a new platen and feed rollers along with a new drawstring. While it’s missing a few of the features one might want if you planned to write a lengthy novel, the fresh rubber really does cut down on the sharpness of the typing sound.
A little extra polish on this one really brings out the shine. Glossy black paint certainly does not improve one’s typing, however it is always easy on the eyes to see while typing.
